Available in safety yellow and in widths from 4’ to 12’ in one-foot increments, the freestanding swing gate is designed to provide access through a section of Guardrail 200 railing.
On a rooftop, it can be used to provide an opening in the guardrail system where materials can be lifted and placed on the roof. Because it is not a two-gate system, appropriate safety measures must be used such as being tied off to an anchor point when the gate is open and the fall edge is exposed.
It can also be used where it is not possible or desirable to permanently mount a gate with anchors. Take a dock door as an example. Rather than drilling into the concrete and installing anchors, non-penetrating weighted bases are used to support the hinge post and latch post.
