The Freestanding Swing Gate offers a non-penetrating solution for controlled rooftop or dock access where permanent installation isn’t possible or preferred. Built to work seamlessly with the RailGuard 200™ system, this gate meets OSHA standards 1926.502(b)(3)-(4) and 1910.29(b)(3)-(4), ensuring compliant fall protection at critical access points. Available in safety yellow and widths from 4’ to 12’ (in 1-foot increments), this manual gate allows easy entry without compromising safety. When the gate is open, appropriate fall protection, such as tying off to an anchor is required.
Ideal for rooftop material access zones or dock doors where drilling is restricted, this freestanding gate uses RailGuard 200 weighted bases (sold separately) to support the latch and hinge posts. With flexibility to swing left or right and a simple wheel-assisted design, it’s easy to install and operate. Each kit includes the latch, hinge post, latch post, gate rail, and wheel, giving a complete OSHA-compliant access solution without the need for anchors.
